Venom Foundation is throwing down the gauntlet. Today, the company announced it’s opening its vault and its code, inviting the world’s sharpest ethical hackers and security researchers to stress-test its blockchain. With a bounty pot of $100,000 for the most critical flaws found, Venom is putting serious cash behind its commitment to security.

This isn't just a routine check-up. It’s a direct response to Venom's rapid growth. The network is sprinting towards a goal of 500,000 daily transactions by year's end, a milestone that would place it among heavyweights like Polygon and Arbitrum. With transaction numbers already climbing and nearly 10 million accounts created, making the system bulletproof is no longer an option—it’s a necessity.

“We’re building a highway for the future of digital assets and services, and we need to guarantee it’s the safest one out there,” said Christopher Louis Tsu, CEO of Venom Foundation. “We know the best minds for finding weak spots aren’t always in our office—they’re everywhere. So, we’re inviting them in, and we’re paying top dollar for their help. This is how you build trust, not just tech.”

How the Bounty Hunt Works

The program is straightforward and focused. The big prize, up to $100,000, is reserved for vulnerabilities that could lead to significant financial loss or a network shutdown. Rewards are tiered based on the severity of the issue, from critical flaws down to minor bugs.

The hunt is specifically targeted at Venom’s core engine: the base protocol, its consensus mechanism, and the T-Sol smart contract environment. Third-party apps built on Venom are outside this program's scope.

This initiative is a key piece of Venom's larger security strategy, which includes regular external audits and a dedicated team that promises to review every legitimate submission within 72 hours.

Security as a Launchpad for Growth

This push for ironclad security comes as Venom expands its global footprint. The foundation recently partnered with the Government of the Philippines to build blockchain infrastructure for its national digitalization and is in talks with a major Chinese fintech firm. For institutions and governments to come on board, they need to know the foundation is solid.

Venom’s technology, capable of handling up to 150,000 transactions per second, is built for scale. Now, they’re ensuring the locks on the door are just as robust.

Security researchers and developers can now register to participate. The program is live and ongoing.
